This class focuses on the occurrence of English all across the globe.
Even though English is so widespread, we can categorise the different
Englishes. We will make ourselves familiar with different models of
World Englishes, investigate linguistic structures based on corpora and
sound files, discuss why the knowledge of World Englishes is relevant
and discover how curricula and school books deal with World Englishes.
