What are the most common pronunciation issues German learners of English encounter? How can teachers support them in overcoming those difficulties?
In this seminar, we will review phonemic and prosodic features of English(es) and discuss what may help learners to notice and understand the patterns of speech sounds and the English rhythm. Furthermore, evaluating coursebook material as well as the set curriculum, we will explore effective and fun ways to teach and practise pronunciation in the communicative EFL classroom.
