Module aims:

  • The One Health approach addresses pathogens and vector transmission that play a role in humans, animals and the environment
  • Occurrence and spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria
  • Understanding the underlying mechanisms of resistance to antibiotics and other anti-infectives and insecticides
  • Explanation of classic and alternative treatments for bacterial diseases
  • Presentation of specific examples of the application of whole genome sequencing, which can be used, among other things, to characterize resistance and virulence traits of antibiotic-resistant pathogens and to investigate phylogenetic relationships and the spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria

In this course, you will find the documents for the lecture, seminar and practical training.
