- Discuss and read about current topics concerning sustainability, climate
change and georesources including the IPCC report, CCS, Oil peak, shale
gas, rad‐waste disposal, a variety of georesources issues
- Understand the fundamentals of at least one analytical technique (i.e.
XRD, XRF, SEM)
- Select samples from the Mecklenburg‐Vorpommern State Survey core library
and analyse them in the context of the potential of storing radioactive waste in shales.
